Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney can’t get no respect from either side of the political aisle after having served as a Republican yet leading the Jan. 6 witch hunt against Trump and hundreds of jailed Americans.
Half of the liberal graduating class from Colorado College on Sunday booed and turned their backs to Cheney as she began the commencement address, in which she ironically told students to stand firm in their beliefs.

Wyoming Republicans had already turned their back on Cheney in the last election and booted her from office.
The Gazette reports graduates took issue with Cheney’s “conservative positions on abortion, LGBTQ+ issues and voting rights.”
Which is weird because her sister Mary is a lesbian, and Liz has since reversed her decision on same sex marriage.
Cheney is however pro-life.
As for voting rights, that’s a puzzle. Here’s what Cheney told the graduates.
“They wanted me to say that the 2020 election was stolen, that the attack of Jan. 6 wasn’t a big deal, and that Donald Trump wasn’t dangerous. I had to choose between lying and losing my position in House leadership.”
Not good enough for this new class of progressive purists.
The message splashed across the mortarboard of one graduate’s cap read: “Why listen to a racist, imperialist, transphobic, war monger?? Your hate is loud.”
Parents who forked over half a million dollars for the education of their mega privileged offspring at this school must be so proud.
Cheney is a Colorado College graduate, as was her mother, former Second Lady Lynne Cheney, husband, Philip Perry, and two of her children.
